Introduction

In October 1999, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the General Administration of Press and Publication, the academic journal Power Demand Side Management (ISSN 1009-1831) was officially launched as a bimonthly publication. As the first and only comprehensive professional core scientific and technological journal specializing in power demand side management in China, it is supervised by Yingda Media Investment Group Co.,Ltd., co-sponsored by Yingda Media Investment Group (Nanjing) Co.,Ltd. and State Grid (Jiangsu) Power Demand Side Management Instruction Center Co.,Ltd.,and receives academic support from Southeast University.

Upholding brand building philosophy and adhering to clear journal and professional positioning, Power Demand Side Management keeps pace with the key work priorities of domestic power demand side management. It disseminates national relevant policies, laws and regulations, industry standards, technical methods and practical experience, explores and analyzes effective approaches and operational mechanisms for implementing end-user energy efficiency improvement, load management, demand response, green power utility,new type power system construction and other power demand side management businesses in China. The journal serves as a platform for exchanging academic ideas and practical experience, promoting the application of new technologies, new products and new processes, and introducing the development status and advanced successful experience of power demand side management practices worldwide.
