Abstract:With the further development of the power market, demand response has been further investigated all over the world. The demand response from the perspective of practical cases is described. Firstly, characteristics of demand response program in USA and EU are introduced. In addition, the comparisons between these two electricity markets are analyzed. Finally, combined with the foreign experience and electricity market reform in our country, suggestions are proposed to the development of the demand response programs in China.

Abstract:As a new type of transportation tool, electric vehicle(EV)becomes more and more popular among families. However,its charging and discharging processes are highly random due to the influence of users’behaviors. Based on peak and valley price, an electric vehicle load model considering user behavior characteristics is constructed, and the EV load in a region in 2020 is predicted.The influence of electric EV user behavior characteristics on distribution network planning is studied under the constraint of distribution network planning. The results of a numerical example show that the economic performance of the distribution network is optimal when the reverse power of some electric vehicles is considered.

Abstract:For the demand response scheduling problems in an intelligent community containing multiple energy resources, the optimal model is firstly established concerning energy storage, photovoltaic and electric vehicles. The objective function is the minimum exchange quantity and total operation cost between the system and the grid. Then the multi?group collaborative purification genetic algorithm is used to obtain the optimization result. Finally,taking a smart community as an example, MATLAB tool is used to simulate the load model and verify its correctness and feasibility. It shows that the proposed strategy improves the PV consumption rate and reduces the operating cost.

Abstract:According to the characteristics of regional power grid, the electricity transaction among electricity distribution company, power grid company and electricity customer is studied. Considering the differences between supply and demand during the transaction process, a non cooperative game selling strategy model based on transmission cost optimization is established. Taking regional power grid as an example, the Nash equilibrium power sales strategy of various stakeholders is analyzed under the non?coopera?tivegame model. Results show that the model not only provides bidding reference for the sales company and balances the benefits between renewable energy and traditional thermal power, but also reduces the imbalance probability of regional power supply and demand and ensures the safe operation of the electricity market.

Abstract:With the development of demand response and AC/DC distribution network, there will be plenty of distributed generators at the power supply side, a rise of DC power supply mode and opening of the electric market at the user side. A power dispatch strategy is proposed which takes into account the demand response and controllable elements in AC/DC distribution network such as traditional generator, distributed generator, converter, and so on. Taking 10 node AC/DC distribution network for case study,the economics and ability to absorb distributed generator of proposed strategy is studied.

Abstract:There are many isolated islands in China, part of which are rich in tourism resource, leading to characters of considerable load demand, important power clients, and increment of tourism demand. A mechanism considering various fossil scale is proposed, which optimizes the deployment of renewable energy by applying the bilevel optimization algorithm. By comparing the performance of various indexes, the related ideal conclusion which provides methodology of planning work in reality is provided.

Abstract:Considering the huge potential of energy saving in the renovation of medium voltage and low voltage distribution network, the energy saving benefits of four methods are analyzed and quantified from three perspectives, including replacing power equipment, using energy saving technologies and improving power qualities. Then, the life cycle cost model of this project is established and the economic benefit evaluation is carried out through net present value, internal rate of return and dynamic payback period. Finally, a practical example in Shandong Province is calculated. The result shows that it is suitable for investment through these economic indicators, which indicates that the model established in this paper can provide reference for the economic benefit evaluation of the energy saving project.

Abstract:In order to improve the accuracy of short term load forecasting model, a short term load forecasting method based on radial basis function(RBF)neural network parameter optimization is studied. Firstly, the influencing factors of short term load are analyzed, and the temperature variable quantitative model considering the accumulated temperature effect and the date type variable quantitative model considering the load correction are established. Secondly, a short term load forecasting model based on RBF neural network is established, and the center vector and base width parameters of hidden layer nodes of RBF neural network are optimized based on the nearest neighbor propagation algorithm and genetic algorithm respectively. Finally, a case study is carried out based on the summer load data of a light processing industry in a certain area. The results show that the short term load forecasting accuracy can be improved to a certain extent compared with the forecasting model without considering parameter optimization.

Abstract:Aiming at the problems of wind power curtailment and pollutant emission of conventional units, and considering the economic benefits and improvement of wind energy utilization,a multi objective combined operation model of wind power and pumped storage is established. Non dominated sorting genetic algorithm II(NSGA II)is used to compare unit characteristics and determine the working conditions of the storage unit and the conventional unit. In order to maximize the benefit of peak shaving and valley filling of pumped storage units and minimize coal consumption and emission of conventional units, the optimum running mode is studied. Comparing three different running modes, the example proves that the model can effectively reduce the wind power curtailment,coal consumption and emissions. Meanwhile, comparing with multi objective particle swarm optimization, the superiority of NSGA II is shown.

Abstract:In order to promote the implementation of the strategy of“coal to electricity”in Hebei Province, the Electricity Demand Side Management Guidance Center of Hebei Province, in cooperation with Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd., carried out a technical test of“coal to electricity”for clean heating in rural areas in Tianzhai Village, Feixiang District, Handan City. From February 8 to March 9, 2018, 5 kinds of clean heating technologies, i.e., thermal storage heat pump, heat pump fan, hot water air source heat pump, electromagnetic phase change heat storage and carbon crystal electric heating plate, were tested in different types of residential buildings. The operating parameters of indoor temperature,outdoor temperature, equipment power consumption and equipment peak and valley power consumption were measured on the spot. According to the test results, the feasibility of“coal to electricity”technology for clean heating in rural areas of Hebei Province is analyzed and demonstrated objectively and systematically,and the implementation suggestions of“coal to electricity”technology are put forward.

Abstract:Electric heating projects are conducive to improving atmospheric environment and promoting new energy power consumption, which are important objects of power demand side management. At present, the economy of electric heating projects is poor, and large scale construction causes additional burdens on the government and power grid companies. In order to explore the feasible scheme for realizing the sustainable development of electric heating, the critical tariff model is constructed. Based on boundary condition data obtained by investigation, maximum affordable tariff of three kinds of electric heating projects is calculated. Combined with calculation of the transmission and distribution price and analysis of the lowest affordable price of wind power projects in northern Hebei province, the economic feasibility of centralized electric heating projects in Beijing is discussed. The other obstacles of electric heating projects participating in power transactions is analyzed, and suggestions of policies are put forward at last. The results of the study show that under the condition of no or less subsidy, part of electric heating projects can generate profits through electricity transactions, financial subsidies and burdens of power grid corporations can be reduced significantly, thus realizing the sustainable development of electric heating.

Abstract:With the gradual liberalization of the power selling side and the continuous development o“f Internet+”, the energy demand of customers is going to be diversified and personalized.Customers are able to have more choices for power products and services,traditional power companies will face the risk of customers lose.For meeting the customers’needs more precisely, traditional power companies need to conduct further research on the characteristics of the customers’demands on the basis of the customer segmentation. Firstly, K means clustering method based on the electricity、electrovalency、capacity and other dimensions is used, to divide customers into five categories. Secondly, customer demands are obtained by the way such as key account service orders and customer surveys, and customer demands are segmented into five hierarchy according to business types and customer perception. Finally, the specific demand and hierarchy of needs for all types of customers are identified, and advise on the service resource allocation is given, to provide a basis for developing service strategies.

Abstract:The current situation and difficulties faced by 95598 customer service analysis are analyzed and the characteristics, partitioning principles and advantages of grid management are pointed out. The management boundary is broken in the case of the analysis of fault reporting in typical areas, which highlighting the advantages in the research and judgment of fault weak points, the manufacturer selection of metering devices and the guidance of grid layout. The market oriented trading environment promotes the investment in power industry, which further strengthens the reliability of electricity supply in Peru. The development and reform process of Peruvian power industry are introduced, and the significance of important laws in the reform process is expounded. The market oriented reform process of Peruvian power market has built a relatively stable electricity trading system, reasonable electricity pricing mechanism and transparent information disclosure system, which has the reference effector electric power system reform in China.
