Abstract:The demand-response business model with load aggregators as the middleman can fully exploit the potential of the demand-side resources and achieve the comprehensive optimization of power grid. Based on fuzzy set pair analysis, the potential evaluation method of demand response is proposed. By analyzing the influences of clients’response, the index system is established. Based on fuzzy set pair analysis, a model of potential assessment is established to achieve a preliminary quantification of user response potential. Through the load distribution simulation experiment between the aggregator and the user, the effectiveness of the evaluation method in improving the accuracy and task completion rate of the load reduction is verified.

Abstract:A day ahead dispatching model aiming to minimize the dispatching cost of electric power system considering correlation between the response quality of demand response load and the output of wind power is established. Firstly, a joint probability distribution model of wind power output and response quantity is established. Then, customers’interaction satisfaction index is proposed to limit the adjustable degree of demand response load. Finally, in order to minimize the dispatching cost, an optimal dispatching model is established. The IEEE 39 system standard example verifies the rationality and accuracy of model. The results show that the model proposed can effectively reduce the system operation cost and improve the economic efficiency of the system dispatching.

Abstract:How to maximize market revenue is one of the key issues remaining exploring for investment and operation of energy storage station. Focusing on an independently operated battery energy storage (BES), an economic operation strategy in day ahead market is presented. First, the feasibility for an independent BES to participate in electricity market is discussed through analyzing relevant policies issued in China. Then, based on market price forecast, the mathematical model of operation strategy is established with the objective of maximizing market revenues of the BES, including revenue from day ahead energy market and reserving capacity, so that charging/discharging behavior and reserved capacity in the operating day can be optimized. Case study demonstrated that with operation strategy presented market revenue of the BES can be effectively improved.

Abstract:The issue of household energy consumption has been concerned by the society, and the study of the impact mechanism is the key. Five influencing variables are selected, a structural equation model is constructed, and the influence mechanism of household energy consumption behavior is analyzed. The data is obtained based on the investigation of 13 cities in Jiangsu province. The partical least squares regression method is used to estimate the path coefficients. It is confirmed that the four variables such as environmental literacy, family characteristics, lifestyle and education have effects on household energy consumption behavior. The interaction of structural variables and the combined effects of household energy consumption behaviors are measured.

Abstract:Due to the rapid development of electric vehicles, there is much potential for distributed charging piles to participate in power grid management. Typical evaluation indicators of load operation are compared, load fluctuation rate is selected as the objective of optimization, multiple target optimization model for load optimization with distributed charging piles is established, and the key characteristics of load fluctuation rate are extracted to establish the simple target function describing load fluctuation rate. The inflexibility of electricity pricing is solved by introduction of incentive points, and optimization target function of end user cost is built. Typical summer load conditions of certain distribution system feeder line located in Nanjing is taken for instance. MATLAB is used to simulate the load optimization featuring peak shifting and valley filling participated by 2 000 EVs and 500 EVs. It turns out that the fluctuation rate of grid load reduces obviously and the end users save cost greatly.

Abstract:The coal to electricity project changes the load characteristic of the power grid, and causes a significant impact on the line loss. In order to reduce the negative influence caused by coal-to-electricity project and improve the efficiency of the power supply unit, the low voltage district after the implementation of the coal-to-electricity project is studied, and then a method of line loss anomaly identification based on deep neural network is proposed. The proposed method establishes a model of line loss outlier identification combing the anomaly detection, EM algorithm and deep neural network. The model can predict whether the indicators of the low voltage district may cause the line loss be abnormal after implementing coal-to-electricity project, and then supply the guidance suggestions for the following coal-to-electricity project, so as to take corresponding measures to reduce the line loss.

Abstract:The economic evaluation of the regenerative electric heating project is an important basis for the project decision, and the present evaluation method is less intuitionistic. In order to provide a new evaluation method, a critical price method is used to determine whether the project has economic feasibility or multiple alternatives. With the analysis of this method, it is concluded that solid heat storage boiler scheme has the best economy, the second is the electrode boiler and water storage scheme, and the electric boiler and phase change heat storage scheme is the worst.

Abstract:An energy interconnect microgrid system model with distributed photovoltaic, CAES, demand side response, gas turbine and other equipment is proposed. Then the minimum annual operating cost, including installation cost, energy cost and demand side response cost, is set as the optimization goal. The impact of the number of distributed photovoltaic cells, the configuration of devices, CAES, demand side responses and V2G on device capacity allocation and various costs in the microgrid are analyzed under different scenarios. In particular, the effects of parameters such as the turbine pressure, temperature of the CAES and with or without V2G on the microgrid system are considered. The model proposed can rationalize the equipment capacity configuration and reduce the annual operating cost of energy interconnection microgrid.

Abstract:Under the influence of low-level load during the Spring Festival, the thermo electric generating set of Jiangsu grid fails to open enough thermal generators, leading to the difficulty in regulating peak and valley load. The valley load period during the Spring Festival is just the period when renewable energy, such as wind and photovoltaic, reaches its peak in generating power, renewable energy generation is forced to participate in regulating the load at a low capacity, adding a negative effect on the full utilization of renewable energy. To deal with the above problems, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company organized the first provincial “valley shaft”demand response during the Spring Festival (Feb.16th-18th), providing the load of 1.68 million kilowatts at one time and 9.28 million kilowatts in total. This action efficiently alleviates the pressure on regulating the power load, assuring the full utilization of the renewable energy generation in this region.

In the part of cost coverage, the cost generation and corresponding way of cost coverage is analyzed from two aspects: user and dispatch. Then the overall characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the three transaction modes form the perspectives of the complexity of the transaction and charging system, the organization of the market, then stability and guidance of the price, and the transparency of the market operation are analyzed respectively. At last, on the basis of the research, the related suggestions are given, combined with the national conditions in China.
