Abstract:With the gradual development of the electricity industry reform in China, marketization has become an important way to improve the operating efficiency in the power system.In order to ensure the comprehensive benefit of pumped storage power station, this paper studies the centralized bidding model in the pumped storage market.Based on the comparison between the trading mechanisms in Anhui province and Yixing city in Jiangsu province, the shortage of the mode declaring electricity without price is analyzed.Besides, the participants and access conditions of pumped storage market are defined.Considering the encouragement of power plants actively affording the capacity costs, as well as the punishment of collusion and using market force to manipulate the market, the centralized bidding model of pumped storage station is established.Finally, it takes seven power plants as an example to simulate the market operation.The effectiveness of the clearing model and the reward and punishment mechanism is verified, which can guide the market members in the early stage of market construction.

Abstract:There has been a rapid development of photovoltaic (PV) power in recent years.Further analysis about the feature of PV power output was also a research focus.However, we have not got the mature PV power evaluation index system.After the data calculation, we found that the randomness of PV power output was less than that of wind power output.Therefore, we could choose alternatively some simple and refined index system to character PV power output.In this paper, we proposed an evaluation index system for PV power output.The index ‘PV power output season’ is used to describe the period of PV power output during different season.The index “averaged PV power output” is used to describe the level of PV power output.The index “maximum PV power output per day” is applied to quantitatively analyze the impact of PV power output on peaking service.The paper takes the output of an actual photovoltaic power station as an example, explains the indexes in detail and the application in curve classification.The results show that the proposed index system can directly describe PV power characteristics and form the typical curves, which has good application prospect.

Abstract:Due to the remarkable increase of unbalance between power supply and demand as well as load variation, demand response has been widely applied in electricity management in China.Through the use of price and incentive measures, power utilities can guide users to improve their electricity consumption behavior, resulting in effective load management.This paper is intended to make a survey on demand response applications in power system peak shaving, including the feasibility of peak shaving, optimization model and evaluation method.The characteristics of power user's peak shaving are analyzed first.Second, formulation method and the optimization model of peak load management based on electricity price are discussed.Then the paper summarizes the peak shaving researches based on the combination of incentive and price, and the long?term peak shaving considering the participation of demand side resources.The evaluation methods of peak shaving effect by demand response are also introduced.Finally, vistas of this research topic are projected into the future.

Abstract:With fast development of distributed PV generation, there has been a fundamental change in distribution load characteristics.In this paper, a distribution fault outage cost evaluation approach considering distributed PV generation is proposed.We analyze the characteristics of distribution load when take distributed photovoltaic generation into account, and propose the practical load models for power generation and consumption of photovoltaic generation using multi?data sources.Both power generation cost and consumption cost are evaluated.The numerical results present the effectiveness of our method.

Abstract:This paper designed a Web based remote monitoring platform of household electricity consumption using technologies of B/S structure by JSP and JDBC.This platform can get operating data and load records of household appliances timely, enable users to monitor the operational aspect of their household appliances remotely,and help users to adjust the working hours of their household appliances to minimize the electric bill.Basing on a smart household system application example, the main functions of the platform and the effectiveness of the energy management strategy are verified.

Abstract:According to the serious condition of abandoned wind, difficulties in heat supplying and peak modulating in Northeast China, firstly this paper compares advantages and disadvantages of several main solutions to abandoned wind technology.Secondly compressed air energy storage coupling gas turbine technology is proposed and this technology not only keeps heat load supplying continuously, but also makes the ability of peak shaving and valley filling flexible and reliable.Then the principle of compressed air energy storage coupling gas turbine is introduced, and three kinds of operating modes based on air energy storage, energy storage generation and hybrid generation are also introduced.Lastly, based on the typical electricity and heating curve in Northeast China, the proposed technology can assure that there is no abandoned wind.Meanwhile, it pointed out that multi energy complementary technology is the best way to solve new energy consumption in Northeast China.
