    Abstract:

    Promoting clean energy consumption with virtual power plant technology is an important part of the construction of ubiquitous electric Internet of Things. Firstly, the concept of virtual power plant is introduced, then the definition, structure, classification, consensus mechanism, and smart contract of blockchain technology are described, and the feasibility of applying blockchain technology to virtual power plants is analyzed. Thirdly, the virtual power plant commercial operation structure and power transaction mode based on blockchain technology are established. The virtual power plant energy certification and certificate transaction mode based on blockchain technology is designed. Then, the application of blockchain in virtual power plant is illustrated. Finally,the development proposal of virtual power plant based on blockchain technology is given.
