    Abstract:

Guangdong Power Grid Co. has organized an urban-park two-level‘Internet+’smart energy pilot project supporting energy consumption revolution in Zhuhai to meet the opportunities and challenges of the development of the energy Internet. The application layer of the pilot project, which initially built Zhuhai integrated energy operation service application system, has realized multi-energy cooperation in Hengqin region, distributed resource management based on Internet concept and technology, demand response to market mechanism and intelligent energy service for the whole city. The project has accumulated valuable experience for the construction of energy Internet, and has formed a sustainable pilot and demonstration experience. Based on the project, three suggestions have been put forward: promoting the construction of power market, supporting and cultivating new market players, organizing and formulating the technical standard system for the construction of national or industrial energy Internet, which will contribute to the sustainable and healthy development of China’s energy Internet industry.
