With the new electricity reform being carried out,China's electricity reform process has entered a critical stage, but the legal system about the electricity market is not perfect yet.Firstly, the electricity reform course of Australia is briefly introduced, then the legal system of its electricity market is combed.The characteristics of the electricity market and its legal system are analyzed respectively as well as the relationship between them.Based on the analysis of the existing electricity market legal system of China, the framework of China’s electricity market legal system is proposed, and the advice on the legal system construction of provincialelectricity market is given, which provides references for China’s electricity reform.
